A little further east on the coast is Yeh Saneh, an idyllic spot that few people know about. Only a few meters from the splash of the surf is a cool freshwater spring around which has been built a large pool and gardens for bathers and picnickers.
For those driving the tiring coastal road from Amed to Singaraja, here’s the place you can stop for invigoration. The ice cold freshwater springs at Air Saneh (Yeh Saneh). The springs are surrounded by garden and there are changing facilities. The cost is 3,000rp and the springs are open 7am-7pm.
The small tourist scene that is set up here also attracts locals who love a late afternoon saok in the springs. Can be a good way to relax and check out the local scene also.
